About Us


        The Neighborhood Computer Project is a non-profit organization in Syracuse, New York whose mission is to help limited-income, seniors, disabled, unemployed, immigrants, youth, and health impaired populations by offering computer training and services through our lab.  The purpose of the organization is to encourage the cultivation of skills, promote employability, enhance education, enrich lives, and build community through our programs.

        Through our computer classes you can enter into the vast world of opportunities that exist with computer knowledge.  Our courses cover topics including basic PC literacy, e-mail, general Internet usage, Internet job searching, keyboarding, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), and much more.  All of our computer courses are free and the lab is open to the public during the following hours: 

Open Lab Hours:
Weekdays:  9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Saturdays: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Please call (315) 399-4699 for computer availability and class enrollment before coming!

We are now taking reservations of the computer lab for private use!
